Chris is an accomplished and versatile energy executive with extensive experience in operations, development, trading, and project management earned in Global Fortune 500 firms and start-up environments. He possesses exceptional financial management skills combined with a proven ability to execute and oversee complex projects with multiple stakeholders, institute strategies to drive revenue growth, form strategic partnerships, manage complex hedging strategies, and build teams to optimize assets. These skills built him a reputation of delivering a quantifiable record of growing revenues, improving operations, and managing / developing strategies to capture value in dynamic market environments.
Chris' career in the energy industry started after graduating from the University of Florida's MBA program in 2000. He worked for FPL Energy (Now NextEra Energy Resources) and gained valuable exposure to fuels including natural gas and oil, trading, hedging strategies, understanding multiple generation technologies, disaster recovery operations, and the development and management of fossil and renewable generation assets.
In 2008 Chris' focus moved to developing energy projects for a large global turbine manufacturer and a Morgan Stanley backed development venture. In 2012 he was tapped to use the operations skills and knowledge to build a team to manage onsite operations and provide Asset Management services for almost $1B USD in operating assets.
In 2013 Chris bolstered his knowledge of the oil and gas industry by completing the Thunderbird School of Global Management's Global Oil and Gas Management Program. He is currently working on consulting engagements with energy firms, industry analysts, and development groups with interests in the USA, Mexico, and Asia.
