Chris Payne

After being born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, I'm currently a pre-med student at Baylor University seeking a degree in biochemistry.

After graduating high-school, I enrolled at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and started my studies in the field of neuroscience. After one semester I decided that something in the field of chemistry was more tailored to my interests. After a slow start, I have since made the Dean's List for academic excellence. I am currently involved as a member of the Baylor University Medical Ethics Discussion Society where I serve on the service board. In addition, I am an active member of The Beta Theta Pi Fraternity where I am on the recruitment committee.

In my free time I can most often be found amongst friends or family. I also enjoy, running, cycling, and I am frequently in front of various electronic devices.

Currently I am entering my junior year at university. I am seeking internship positions or research experience in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry, or biology. I hope to attend medical school in the near future following the completeion of my undergraduate degree.
