Born and raised in Austin, Texas, upon graduating from St. Andrew’s Episcopal School I decided to attend Ohio’s Otterbein University. While there, I have been pursing a B.A. in English, a B.S. in Business, and a minor in Psychology. I work as a peer editor and writing tutor in the University’s Writing Center and as co-editor of Aegis, the University’s Humanities journal. I have spent my summers working in retail positions such as Box Office manager for a small theater business and in overnight logistics at Target. Last summer, I had a Marketing internship with Austin-based startup ihiji, broadening my business experience. I have had several freelance newspaper articles published as well as a poem in Quiz & Quill, Otterbein’s literary journal, and a paper in Aegis. I am currently serving as President of our campus’ hobbyist club, the Gamers’ Guild, while working on both my Honors and Distinction Projects and maintaining a full class load. I specialize in writing and editing and have some experience in sales, customer relations, graphic and web design, and event planning.
The future? I want to be an editor for professional publications, but am also open to a position at a marketing firm.
