Chris Walton
Teacher, Consultant, and Public Speaker in SD36
I am a Learning Support Teacher in the Surrey School District. I have been working with iPads in the classroom for the past 2 years. I have been an LST teacher for the better part of the last 10 years and have taught all grades from K-12 over the past 20 years.
I have a PB +15 in 'Integrating Technology for the Digital Age' (SFU), a BEd in Primary Ed (UBC) and a BA in English (SFU).
I am passionate about engaging my students with themselves, their world and each other. I am interested in iPads and other technologies to the degree to which they enable me to meet this goal.
I am equally passionate about supporting my colleagues as they too seek to discover how they can use technologies (such as the iPad) to help them achieve the goals they have for their students.
