Connector in Dallas, Texas
I'm a first generation born son of very Cuban parents that arrived in Miami in 1980. Education and entrepreneurship were a big part of my life growing up. My abuelita would constantly tell me "...estudia, estudia y estudia mas!"
Dallas, TX has been my new home since 2016 and this city has given me so many great opportunities. I've served up delicious award-winning in partnership with award winning breweries and the Downtown Dallas Farmers Market. You may catch me some nights moonlighting as an improv comedian over at the Dallas Comedy House.
Working with student leaders is my passion and profession. I believe in engaging, educating and empowering our youth. I'm currently a Workplace Learning Coordinator at the largest P-Tech Early College High School in all of Texas. Prior to that I oversaw programming for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) here in North Texas. Like I said, I'm passionate about education and entrepreneurship.
When I'm not working, you can find me crushing some ping pong balls, shooting some hoops or at a local coffee shop with a cold brew learning something new on Coursera.
Always be learning...Cheers
