Since I am passionate about education and our future, you may wonder where from where that resonates. Well, I was the semi-motivated kid in your class. I wanted to do well, (and that means to get all A's) but quite frankly, as my daughter would say, 'the juice just wasn't worth the squeeze". Sure, I could have applied myself like I later did in graduate school, some crazy number of years later, but... in high school? I just didn't get the connection that we educators work so hard to make for... well, students like me!

So... on this blog, I hope to share some insights I've gained from 'walking the path' of the undermotivated student to that of a (some might say) crazed learner of just about anything my eyes set sight on.
