I'm an Engineer, originally focusing on Automotive Engineering, before stumbling into and settling in the Broadcast industry.

When I'm not at work attempting to speed and ease the deployment of bespoke Linux based broadcast appliances; I can usually be found either in the garage, working on a mad cap Mazda Rx8 engine'd Westfield; Or experiementing with electronics and software development as part of some other equally ridiculous project.

Recently my ridiculous projects have tended to focus around the Raspberry Pi platform, with the creation of the Monstrosity rover, a Raspberry Pi and Arduino based rover; and a Circadian and Ambient lighting platform, featured most notably on RaspberryPi.org and HackADay.com.
