Chris Gibbons
Chris supports organisations in using social technologies to connect with those who matter, to create value that matters.
Chris is soon to be engaged in an action-research based MSc in 'Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship' at Newcastle University Business School. Chris also has an active portfolio of clients in large and SME business sectors where he is valued for his ability to develop workable communication strategies to engage people within and outside organisation boundaries. He has recently been engaged to deliver a series of action-research based case studies with the Innovation Studio. Chris developed contacts with a number of leading organisations and interviewed key people about the use of social technologies to enable innovation. The project saw Chris work with a number of leading global organisations, including: BP, Alliance Boots and IBM.
Alongside his degree studies at Durham Business School, Chris founded the Durham University Consulting Society where he had the pleasure of working with a number of small, medium and large consultancies to develop students' skills and opportunities within the consulting industry. He was named the HE Academy's Business Management, Account and Finance Student of the Year 2011 and has been awarded the Durham Award for his endeavours at the University. Chris has spent time working with Deloitte in their People & Programmes consulting practice and is Director at North East charity, Moving On (Durham) Ltd.
