Christopher Greenshields

Huntington Beach, CA

Hello, My name is Christopher Greenshields and I am a Business Administraion Major at California State University, Long Beach. I hope to one day become a CPA with this major. It has been a privilege to attend such a great institute of higher learning. And that is my main objective throughout college. Learning about as many subjects as I possibly can. When all of my College classes are over, I do not want to just throw all that knowledge out the window. I want to retain that knowledge and use it in my everyday life.

But it is not about competing to be more knowledgable than others. I genuinely love learning. I learn every chance I get. I pick books to read because I do not know about the subject. I watch documentaries about parts of the past I have never learned about. These are things I love to do. Learning is a passion for me and I will continue to learn throughout my entire life.

Besides learning, I have many pastime passions. One of those pastimes is flying model airplanes. I am a member of a model airplane club called the Scale Squadron of Southern Calfornia, a group of scale airplane enthusiasts. We love to build scale airplanes and fly them in competitions or even just for sunday flying. My Grandfather, John Greenshields, is a legend in the hobby and my father, Mike Greenshields, should be considered one as well. I am a third generation model airplane pilot and very proud of it. I hope to follow in my Grandfather's and Father's footsteps and be a legend one day as well. Until then, I will enjoy everything the hobby has to offer.

Another passion of mine is sports. I was an avid sports player in high school and had the opportunity to be on many teams including Football, Wrestling, and Golf. Being a part of a team such as these taught me many great things about teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and life. Having sports in my life made me the person I am today, a hard working, responsible adult. I have also realized that I want to give other kids the same type of life changing activities I was given. That is why I decided to become a volunteer football coach. I started getting into coaching in the 2012 season when I was afforded the chance to help out Anaheim High School's Varsity Football Program with their video coordinating. I am now the JV Lineman Coach.
