As a 4th yr student at the Gustavson School of Business, I have chosen to specialize in Entrepreneurship. Previously as a co-op student at Scotiabank I helped customers maximize their potential to reach their financial goals. I promote the value of a second opinion on investments, strengthening relationships with existing clients and attracting new opportunities for growth. At GE Capital I worked as an Assistant Account Manager in helping the financing of new Equipment. I learned about adding value to the client's business and helping them mitigate the risks of new ventures. I have completed the Real Estate Trading Services course at UBC, and am now taking the Canadian Securities Course. I also completed my level one insurance license at BCIT. Appointed to the UVic Senate I am excited to represent students concerning academic governance. Elected Student Council President at Meadowridge, I gained time management and organizational skills as I worked with a group of highly talented peers. I bring the discipline of 6 years of Meibukan Karate training and the perseverance that earned me a Black Belt. Next fall, as part of my BCom I will be going on excahnge to Gothenburg Sweden and am learning the language before going. In my spare time I am a long distance runner and recently competed in the Scotiabank Half Marathon. I am most passionate about sustainability, am a vegetarian, athiest and animal lover.
