Chris Hanks
physical therapist in Texas
Hi, I’m Chris Hanks, an experienced physical therapist based in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. My journey in physical therapy began at the University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2002. Driven by a passion for helping others achieve their best physical health, I pursued and obtained my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the same institution in 2005.
Since becoming a licensed PT in Texas in 2005, I have dedicated my career to providing exceptional care and treatment. I started my professional journey at Central Texas Rehabilitation Hospital, where I honed my skills and developed a deep understanding of patient needs. In 2010, I joined Austin Sports Medicine Center, where I further expanded my expertise, particularly in sports-related injuries and rehabilitation.
In 2015, I realized my dream of opening my own clinic, Capital City Physical Therapy. Here, I continue to treat patients with personalized care, leveraging my extensive experience to help them achieve optimal health and recovery.
Outside of my clinic, I am passionate about fitness, health, and swimming. I also enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights through my blog on Urban Therapy, where I write about various topics related to physical therapy and overall wellness.
Feel free to connect with me and explore my blog for tips, advice, and information on staying healthy and fit.
