Chris Hilken

Christopher “Chris” Hilken has spent the past decade with North Coast Church, coming on staff at 22 and becoming teaching pastor at 25 making him one of the youngest mega-church teaching pastors across the country. Since then, Chris Hilken has been a big part of why the weekly church attendance has increased by 5,500.

He also increased membership in the youth program from 30 to 360. Throughout this time, he has had responsibilities for the church’s annual conference, where he served as creative director and also oversees staff development.

Alongside his duties as a pastor, Christopher Hilken has been a speaker with NU Ministries since 2015. Through this organization, he has spoken at more than 100 engagements across the country, including appearances at conferences, colleges, youth camps, and other churches. The position has also allowed him to consult other churches about how they can grow their congregation.

Chris Hilken has also served as a marriage counselor throughout this time, and worked with dozens of couples, both before and during their marriage. In addition to providing ongoing support for marriages, he often officiates ceremonies.
