Chris Hicks

Chris Hicks is a junior at Harrison High School in Harrison, New York. He enjoys

An avid swimmer since the age of 7, Chris thoroughly enjoys his year round swim teams and has gone to divisional, sectionals and state championships. Chris has also been a member of his high school's varsity swim team since the 7th grade and had competed at divisional and sectional championships on that team, as well.

Chris' other longtime passion is music. Starting in the 4th grade on the snare drum, Chris is now a member of the grammy-nominated Harrison Highschool Marching Band through which he has performed at Pearl Harbor, Disneyland, and Washington DC. The percussion section has also received individual awards for excellence in competitions.

When not swimming or drumming, Chris is active in his community writing for the school newspaper, tutoring in ROTOY program, and serving at the humane society.

Chris found his passion for business for after joining the DECA business club in his school. Placing first in Business Management and Administration at the regional competition and Top 10 at the state level, Chris is excited to continue to learn more about the business world as he tackles Economics next year and explores which college can best support his dream to combine business management with social responsibility.
