Chris Johns

A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, I moved to Wilmington in 1998 to pursue a music degree in Cello Performance from UNC-Wilmington. After completing my bachelor’s, I received my master’s degree in Cello Performance from The University of Georgia.

In 2008 I returned to Wilmington and UNCW to teach in the Music Department. As a part time instructor and free-lance professional musician, I was always searching for other ways to use my time; something which would draw on my many skills acquired through performance and teaching in the music business. My knowledge of Wilmington and surrounding areas and desire to work with people, combined with previous work in carpentry and construction, led me to find the real estate profession.

After leaving real estate and academia in 2014, I partnered with Ronald Sachs Violins to open a second location in Peachtree City, GA. Ronald Sachs Violins is a full service professional violin shop offering sales and rentals, as well as expert bow re-hair and repair/restoration for the violin family of instruments.

Our Peachtree City location is open Tuesday-Saturday 11:00 AM-6:00 PM
