A creative high-tech professional with a wealth of experience in the video game industry, Chris Foster has served more than a decade with Harmonix Music Systems. Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Harmonix is well known in the gaming world as the creator of both Rock Band and Dance Central. Chris Foster’s achievements with this company include serving as design lead or project lead on multiple Rock Band titles.
Since 2014, he has concurrently served as a designer/programmer with Foster and Family Studios. His duties with this organization revolve around developing a tablet/mobile arcade game with his 7-year-old son. The father-and-son team recently presented its first game, Loose Nozzles, at the Boston Festival of Independent Games.
A devoted father, Mr. Foster loves sharing common interests with his children. In addition to instilling in them his love of the band “They Might Be Giants,” he spends a great deal of time playing Lego games with them. Lego Dimensions has become a family favorite.
