Christopher J. Tyson
I'm a law professor in Baton Rouge, La. I teach and write in the areas of property, local government law, real estate, land use and urban development. I'm a Baton Rouge native and returned here in 2006 after living and studying in Washington, DC; Atlanta; Boston and traveling to many fascinating places across the globe. Baton Rouge is a cool place and getting better. I'm commited to doing my part to keep it that way.
My passions include mentoring, urban issues, bodybuilding/personal fitness, politics and music. I'm driven to help young people become their best selves, to keep myself physically fit and holistically healthy, to continue to develop a critical political consciousness and be engaged in meaningful public service and to constantly immerse myself in music (preferably soul music).
