My writing is like a guitar, in order for it to sound good, it must be finley tuned. Each string is like a paragraph. They work together to help me express my thoughts and in doing so, create a story. I will be the first person to admit, I am not the best at writing! But just like when I start playing a new song on my guitar, I think about what it is I'm trying to do and work on it until I know it's right. And like with my music, the more I practice, the better I will become. The coolest thing is though, there will always be something new I can learn, a new song, a new writing format... it's almost endless. Neither are fun or interesting to do if not in the right mood. If you are rushing to do either, it will just come out a jumbled mess, one that no one would want to hear or read, it's all about the timing.

So, I really hope I did a good job explaining how similar my writing and guitar playing really are. And now that I've spent all this time writing about guitar playing, I think I am going to go learn a new song.
