Chris Kingsbury

Chris Kingsbury is the Chief Technology Officer of TS and is based in the firm’s New York office. Kingsbury joined TS in 2000 and previously headed the development group. He has over 20 years of experience in the electronic trading industry and additional experience as a systems architect and developer in the aerospace industry.

Prior to joining TS, Kingsbury served as an assistant vice president at Merrill Lynch in Tokyo, where he was responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the company’s equity order management and real-time position systems. During his tenure at Merrill Lynch, he also contributed to the architecture and development of the firm’s global portfolio management system.

From 1994 to 1997, Kingsbury worked as a developer on NASA’s Earth Observing System (EOS) project. He contributed to the design and development of a massively distributed data management system used to collect, process and archive the enormous steams of data from NASA’s earth sciences satellites.
