Chris Kubasik

As the president and chief operating officer of Seabury Group, Chris Kubasik is responsible for providing strategic guidance to the firm, especially as it seeks to expand services for clients in the defense and aerospace industries. In addition, Chris Kubasik leverages decades of experience at several major companies to offer financial insights to Seabury Group and assess potential opportunities for mergers and acquisitions. Prior to assuming his current role, Christopher Kubasik was the president and chief operating officer of Lockheed Martin Corporation, where he oversaw operations for the $46 billion defense giant, which boasts more than 126,000 employees. During his tenure at Lockheed Martin, he also served as the executive vice president of the Electronic Systems division, chief financial officer, vice president and controller.

At Lockheed Martin, Christopher Kubasik engaged military services and international customers directly to build and maintain strong relationships. When he left the company, it boasted $8 billion in annual international revenue. He also undertook diversification efforts to bring the corporation into new, adjacent markets, such as health care and cyber security. In addition, Chris Kubasik spearheaded a voluntary buyout program that significantly improved performance, as well as an innovative succession process that allowed for the formation of an industry-leading executive team.

Throughout his career, Chris Kubasik has been involved with the corporate governance of several organizations. He sat on the University of Maryland Board of Trustees, the USO Board of Governors, and the Marsico Investment Fund Board of Trustees. In addition, he serves on the boards of The Safariland Group, Empower IT, Spirit AeroSystems, and Norsk Titanium. Christopher Kubasik received an executive master of business administration from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business.
