Chris graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with Diploma In Business. On top of that, he has Diploma in International Business from the University of Washington. He is also a certified Microsoft office specialist for Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.

Chris is currently in SMU Business Management undergraduate course.

Chris has a passion for managing different financial instruments to protect and grow wealth. His main investing focus is inversion and conservatism hence the name of his blog.

He loves to attend finance courses to upgrade himself. So far, his favorite course is Value Investing course by Mind Kinesis and Mary Buffett.

His investment philosophy is simple. It is to buy great businesses with superb competitive advantage at a low price. This opportunity usually happens during horrible times. He has a long-term investing horizon of 2-3 years. He will only buy, hold or sell the business based on his own conviction. Having said that, he will sell a stock in two scenarios. First, when it is overpriced and second when his original thesis of buying the stock is no longer valid.

To him, investing is more about the process and not the outcome. He does not have to be right all the time, but he needs to be right most of the time.
