As a hospitalist at Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo, California, Dr. Chris Liu builds on experience in the coordination and delivery of integrated patient care. He comes to his current position following successful practice as a physician with Pacific Hospitalist Associates, overseeing patient care at Hoag Hospital and the Hoag Orthopaedic Institute. In that capacity, Dr. Chris Liu managed the treatment of 18 to 20 patients each day.

Chris Liu, MD, went to work at Hoag after successfully completing an internship and residency at the University of California (UC), Irvine, Medical Center and Long Beach Memorial Hospital. Effective in providing patient care and overseeing less experienced new professionals, he earned commendation letters for his high quality of service.

Chris Liu, MD, earned his doctor of medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He entered medical school with an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the University of California, Davis, where he became a member of the Golden Key National Society and the UC Davis Chapter of the Phi Sigma Honor Society.
