Before settling in Monument, Colorado, in the mid-2010s, Chris Lowe served as a government official for several different cities in Missouri and Kansas. He also presided over Colorado Employment Security Act administrative law hearings for three years as a state hearing officer. While securing his master of arts in organizational management and public administration from Bowie State University, he concurrently served tenures as the head basketball coach at Mannheim American High School and an assistant professor at the University of Maryland University College in the greater Frankfurt, Germany area.

In addition to his master of arts from Bowie State, Chris Lowe holds a Juris Doctor from the Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Kansas at Lawrence. Before earning his Bachelor of Arts with honors, he gained admittance to the University of Kansas Honors academic program and received a National Merit Finalist scholarship.
