Chris Lozeau

Digital Solutions Consultant in Halstead, UK

Thanks for stopping by! πŸ‘‹ Here's a little bit about me…

Work

I work as a Digital Business Analyst, specialising in bridging the gap between business and technical teams, aiming to build great digital products that people love to use.

It's my responsibility to fully understand, analyse and document digital product requirements from customers and transfer this knowledge to the development and testing teams.

I act as an intermediary between talented teams of developers, UX designers, content designers, user researchers, testers, and project managers. ⚑

Interests

I'm interested in keeping up with emerging technology and science, tech startups solving real world problems, fighting online misinformation, AI, digital user experience design, data analysis, personal finance, investing and health. πŸ’™

Education

I graduated in Computer Science from De Montfort University, achieving a 1st Class Honours. πŸŽ“

Volunteering

I volunteer my spare time with BASICS Essex, an emergency medical charity with trained paramedics voluntarily responding to critical incidents at the request of NHS ambulance services.

To help where I can with their amazing lifesaving scheme, owning all the digital operations such as website management, social media, graphic design, and setting up online campaigns to help grow funding πŸš‘

Helping stranded people get home during the world's first lockdown

In 2020 I was travelling around the beautiful New Zealand, pictured above, when COVID-19 first ground the world to a halt. During a period of confusion and lack of official information, I teamed up with a few others to build a GetUsHome, a daily newsletter sharing the latest news and information with other stranded tourists to help people get home to their families. ✈️
