Chris McGovern

Starting in September I will be taking on the role of French Immersion literacy coach for various schools in my board. It is both exciting and frightening at the same time. I look forward to the learning opportunities that await me during this year-long journey. I will be meeting many new people and exploring multiple avenues for growth. While I love learning, I also crave stability. I will have to learn to live outside my comfort zone for awhile. It will be very rewarding, I am certain.

Reading, relaxing, baking and cooking healthfully, as well as following a healthy lifestyle are still my passions. Over twenty years ago I got my first intro to yoga and have loved it ever since. Although I practise regularly, I am not a hardcore downward dogger.

My husband, best friend and soulmate will ever and always be my number one passion. My daughter, of whom I could not be prouder, enters her second year of university in September. Many new adventures for all of us.
