Chris Mingay is a freelance consultant, leader, and sports industry expert with a passion for mentoring, coaching, and sports development.
With 15 years of experience in the mentoring field, Chris has worked with a diverse range of individuals, from young people facing challenges to elite athletes. He has also trained and equipped church leaders to establish new churches and collaborated with various sports organisations on European Union projects.
Currently, Chris serves as a consultant for the National Youth Sports Association in Sweden and runs his own independent consultancy.
Chris is deeply passionate about utilising sport as a catalyst for inclusion and development. He firmly believes that sport possesses a universal language that can unite people and foster positive change. He has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Psychology.
Chris is a dedicated church leader and community builder with a passion for fostering spiritual growth. He also serves as a network leader for micro-churches in Helsingborg. His leadership is marked by a focus on discipleship, transformative growth, and enabling ‘micro churches’, believing this model of church community has the potential to revolutionise the way churches operate, serve and connect with their communities. He is a leader trainer for 5Q - a Biblically based system for developing leaders and teams by recognising and utilising their natural strengths, based on the idea that everyone has a unique contribution to make. He has a graduate Diploma in Theology.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his family, venturing into new experiences, and indulging in his unwavering love for sports. He is also an insightful podcaster, having hosted the Venture 12 Podcast, which showcases conversations with influential figures in the fields of movement leadership, church planting, and community cohesion and development.
Chris is always keen to collaborate and engage creatively and relationally whether on the sports field, in the church hall or board room.
