Chris Mintz lives in Cocke County and has spent his career investing in high school athletes as a football and basketball coach. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Gardner-Webb University and, since then, has worked for three different schools. At Polk County High School, Chris filled a variety of roles, from teaching health and physical education to coaching the football team. He eventually moved on to Cherokee High School, where he again worked in a variety of roles throughout the athletic department. There, as the women's basketball coach, he drastically improved their winning record, helped the team win multiple championships, and achieved a team GPA of 3.85 in 2011. Today, he works at Cocke County High School in Tennessee, which is now one of the top ten basketball teams in the state.

Christopher Mintz's academic journey laid a solid foundation before he embarked on his successful professional sports career. It all began at Polk County High School, where he dedicated himself to both academics and sports. Fueling his thirst for knowledge, Christopher pursued higher education at the prestigious University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he not only excelled academically but also showcased his skills on the football field. Building on his academic achievements, he later enrolled at Gardner-Webb University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. Christopher focused on Physical Education as his major while also delving into the field of Coaching as his minor.
