As a undergraduate in Microbiology and Marketing minor student in Universidad Del Este, Carolina, Puerto Rico. I will be junior during fall 2015, my interest is doing research in Molecular Microbiology and Toxicology area.

I am part of URGREAT-MBRS-RISE an association in science field that develop research area, workshops, journal clubs, seminars, among others. I started my research experience as volunteer with Dr. Nydia Rodriguez- Bonano and having this experience growth my fascination in doing more research.

In summer 2014 I had the opportunity to be part of SROP at Madison-Wisconsin University working with Dr. Christopher Bradfield. Where I worked in Molecular and Environmental Toxicology. As my first experience in research program I had the opportunity of communicating science through Oral presentations and Poster presentations. Since then I've been having different experiences that have allowed me to be more exposed in science field.

During this summer 2015 I am part of SROP at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I am working with Dr. Brenda Anne Wilson. This experiences is helping me to get to know more about different research areas, also is preparing me for graduate school which is my next step after graduating of Microbiology bachelor degree in spring 2017.
