Chris Reid

Chris Reid is a radio broadcaster, stage actor, and columnist in Winnipeg, Canada. He is also a full-time homepage coordinator at the University of Manitoba in Public Affairs. Chris, 27, has performed on stage since he was 9 years old and has since taken on roles such as the evil magician Jafar in "Aladdin", The Grinch in "Max & The Grinch", and Harry Schvindel in an Abbott & Costello tribute show. Chris worked for six years at Manitoba's leading news/talk radio station, CJOB 68, where he was a news anchor, technical producer, sports anchor, traffic reporter, city hall/courts reporter, but mainly known for his job as host of The Weekend Wakeup Show from April 2007 to November 2010. Chris is also the in-crowd host for various Bison sports events at the University of Manitoba, where he'll be giving away prizes and running contests during breaks and intermissions.
