I am a self-actualized geek. I love technology and science but am well rounded on many subjects, both technology wise and socially.

I am a Sr. Software Engineer specializing in C(30+)/C++(25+) on Windows(28+) and embedded platforms(16+).

I live in Bellevue, Washington and am primarily interested in working on the immediate Seattle Eastside (Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland).

I go very deep with software/firmware especially with C & C++, not only on microcontrollers but also PC's & servers. I also have a broad knowledge and understanding about many things (what they now call STEM) and frequently act as a bit of SME (subject matter exert) with many things (but I know the limits of my knowledge). I love to watch shows like Nova on PBS and who-done-it murder mysteries.

Socially I am a very active member of a Fraternal Service Organization and have many close friends that I call brothers. Over my 24+ years of membership I have held every major office including the equivalent of president 3 times ('96,'12,& '13), held every major office and chaired many large social & fund raising events. I have regular interactions with members from the district and state levels of our organization. I have managed people and finances. I am considered a leader and a go to guy in my parish. I am just as adept at following orders as taking the initiative to get things done.

I am a non-linear thinker who can juggle complex timing and multiple parallel actions (synchronization & threading). I like to dig-deep and drill-down. I understand how things work from the inside-out and how they work together. I believe in simple engineering but can handle the complex (and make it simpler).

I work well with people. I frequently lead or manage teams. I like to mentor and develop junior team members.

I almost never miss taking my dog on a daily walk around the lake in my neighborhood. He loves it. Frankie is a 50+ pound, border collie mix who is strong, smart & loving.
