Chris Schieffer

I'm the 42 year old son of Gene and Lorraine Schieffer and the last of eight kids, or as I like to tell my siblings, the product of a perfected process. ;) I live in Rochester, MN and work for Mayo Clinic where my job entails making healthcare safer, more effective, and less expensive. My hobbies include biking, rollerblading, motorcycles, skiing, building things (woodworking mostly), and fixing things. I have my BS in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Systems Engineering but have discovered the other half of my brain in the last decade and have pursued many new non-technical interests. I have a beautiful six year old girl who's got me wrapped around her little finger. She has changed my life. I am soon to be divorced after a seven year marriage that didn't go as planned. I'm an optimist and I enjoy a life of service. Oh, and I'm currently serving my 25th year in the Air National Guard, currently as a Civil Engineering officer.
