I am the Lower School Digital Learning Specialist at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills, Maryland. I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in English from Virginia Commonwealth University. I am a connected educator who is dedicated to rethinking how we view education and what it means to be educated. I strive to guide my students to become curious, joyful, resilient learners. In 2012, I co-founded Edcamp Baltimore, and over the years, I have presented regionally at conferences such as the Association of Independent Maryland Schools (AIMS) Tech Retreat and nationally at the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Annual Conference, The Association of Independent School Librarians (AISL) Annual Conference, and the TESOL International Convention.
