Christa Plummer(but soon to be Peppers!)

Hello everyone! My name is Christa. I am a senior at ECU majoring in Elementary Education and I will graduate this December. I cannot wait to have a classroom of my own! My fiance and I are getting married June 25th- in 39 days to be exact! Brandon is a Marine stationed at Cherry Point, so not only will I soon be a first year teacher, but also a military wife until he finishes up his last two years. I plan to stay in the Greenville area, because he plans to go to ECU for Nursing when his enlistment is up.

Some interesting facts about myself:

-ECU is the fourth college I have attended since my high school graduation in 2005. I had a semester here and a semester there, but I wish I had started out here all along. I have enjoyed every semester here ten times more than any of the other schools I attended!

-I have worked at five coffee shops since 2004, the last one being the Starbucks on campus. I love the taste and smell of coffee and espresso, and I absolutely LOVE making these beverages. It sort of turns into an art when you've been working at it for so long! Sadly, I had to quit this past semester because of how busy things are going to be this summer as I am planning my wedding, and then with how crazy everything will be next fall during Senior II. It's time for bigger and better things though!

-I love scrapbooking! My fiance and I have made many pages in our scrapbook together, although I must admit I am a little behind right now. I will probably catch up again after the wedding when we have more pictures and things to work with!

I am looking forward to working with and reading about everyone in class through their glogs, about.me's etc. I know that summer classes tend to be a bit fast-paced, but I am ready to knock this one out successfully! :)
