Christa Ghent

Boulder, Colorado, United States

Hi, I'm Christa! I'm a Colorado native, who grew up as a ski racer in my home town of Vail. After successive knee injuries, I moved to Boulder for college and was introduced to cycling, and the strong community that goes with it. Immediately after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a BS in Psychology I accepted a job at Quick Left. My psychology degree gave me an interest in how people communicate, and what drives people's’ passion. As the Marketing Coordinator I can combine my understanding of how people make decisions, and how marketing can influence that. From two monthly newsletters, to landing pages, to blog posts, to social media Quick Left saw an increase in site visits month over month, equalling a 150% increase over the previous year. At the startup nonprofit, The Cycle Effect, she learned how to adapt quickly and bring innovation to a company built on dated nonprofit methods, with 100% success rate on grants applied for. During an internship at Quick Left, she implemented a successful Integrated Marketing Campaign with a 50% response rate using strategic drip marketing tactics. In her downtime she learned how to write a Ruby on Rails script, helps out Dollar Rent a Car in Eagle, CO with their monthly accounting, and trains full time to compete at an elite level of cyclocross racing and road cycling.
