A magna cum laude graduate of Santa Clara University, Dr. Christa Lynn Gray earned her bachelor's degree in biology at the school. While completing her studies, she began serving as a research associate at Sandoz, where she pursued research in the field of molecular biology, studying the expression of genes and their mutations in a variety of plants. Subsequently, Dr. Christa Lynn Gray continued her work in gene research at Genentech, Inc., delving into human genetics.
In 1997, she returned to school to obtain her medical degree from the University of California, followed by further studies in internal medicine and anesthesiology. She received board certification from the American Board of Anesthesiology and then began her work as a staff anesthesiologist at Centinela Medical Center.
Dr. Gray has also published articles on topics ranging from neurotrophic factors to tumor growth. Her professional memberships include the American Medical Academy and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
In her leisure time, she enjoys painting and traveling.
