Christer Byklum

Born in 1979 Christer has tasted a massive amount of wines for his age. With fifteen years of experience and reaching about 35.000 wines tasted in total with a focus on fine wines and especially Bordeaux, but also the wines of Burgundy and German Rieslings. Christer started his education in fine wine back in 2003 when he took the WSET Intermediate Certificate. In 2005 he continued with the WSET Advanced Certificate and finished the WSET Diploma in 2011. He has worked for the Norwegian Wine Monopoly, for the wine importers Winetailor and Bordeaux Vinhandel as Product Manager, Sales Manager and Key Account Manager. Today he works as a freelance wine writer and wine educator, as well as fine wine consultant to both fine wine collectors and some of Norway's greatest chefs. He contributes to several wine magazines and runs the blog mywinesandmore.blogspot.no as well as the fine wine web site christerbyklum.com
