Christian Faller

Hello everybody,

my name is Christian Faller and I am a cosmopolitan. I was born in Germany, but I spent my entire school education in international schools in the following cities: Singapore (2 years), Hong Kong (8 years) and The Hague (4 years). Living abroad for almost 14 years helped me to gain knowledge of the languages Dutch as well as English, besides my mother tongue German.

After my school graduation I went back to Germany to study international business administration in Nuremberg at the Friedrich-Alexander- University Erlangen-Nuremberg. After my five year study period I received my graduation title "Diplom-Kaufmann", which is a German business graduation title equivalent to MBA. My main subjects were international management, industrial management, economics and strategic management. My study semester abroad in Washington DC at the American University in the USA helped me to broaden my international study horizons.

During my study period I gathered numerous practical experience through internships and working student occupations in companies such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Siemens AG, Faurecia AG, PEG GmbH, LyondellBasell, Basel Polyolefine GmbH, and the language laboratory of the Friedrich-Alexander-University. Through these internships and working student occupations I was able to accumulate different practical skills in the fields of private wealth management, investment banking, corporate finance, accounting, strategic development, human resources, and consulting.

Alongside my study I was committed socially in different ways. I participated in the student stock exchange association as board of directors member organizing trips to German stock exchanges and banks as well as holding weekly presentations and discussions about trading opportunities. In July 2010 I founded a student sailing association, which focuses on sailing trips for Dutch and German students in the Mediterranean Sea. The foundation of the student sailing association involved much entrepreneurial thinking, which further developed my practical business experience.

I am currently looking for a job where I can make use of my theoretical and practical business knowledge in your company! If think I could be an invaluable asset for your company, then please feel free to contact me thorugh an email.

Best regards,
Christian
