Christian J. Ortiz Hernandez

I am an undergraduate microbiology student at the University of Puerto Rico at Humacao. My current studies in biology are focused on completing my degree and have the opportunity of earning a PhD in pharmacology. My most valuable skills include: having a great sense of responsibility, quick learning in other areas besides biology (music and theater), and good memorization. I have hands on research experience in chemical modification of cellulose membranes for the purification of biomedical proteins. For that reason, I would enjoy having the opportunity of conducting my own research projects in the future.
