Christian Angermayer

I am a serial entrepreneur and investor born in Germany and based in London. I run Apeiron Investment Group, my own family office and merchant banking business.

My focus by region lies on Germany and Africa. The sector-focus lies on Financial Services, Internet & Technology, Life Sciences and Media, Lifestyle & Entertainment. In Africa, the focus lies on Urban Infrastructure Development.

For example, I founded and created the African Banking Holding ADC African Development Corporation (that just merged with Bob Diamond’s Atlas Mara), Ribopharma, which later merged with a US company and is today stock market listed Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (ticker symbol ALNY, USD 5bn market cap, leading company for translation of RNAi as a new class of innovative medicines), and Aragon, Germany´s largest IFA network with more than 20,000 independent financial advisors.

Since 2011 I am proud to be a member of the Young Global Leaders programme of the World Economic Forum (WEF). Since February 2014 I am a member of the Milken Institute Young Leaders Circle and a member of the Milken Family Office Council. In 2008 I joined the Presidential Advisory Council of His Excellency President Paul Kagame of Rwanda. I am also a member of the Clinton Global Initiative, a community that was founded to inspire, connect, and empower global leaders to forge solutions to the world's most pressing challenges.

I am very passionate for the arts and film, and have (executive) produced via my film production company Film House Germany inspiring and critically acclaimed movies like GOETHE!, SONG FOR MARION/UNFINISHED SONG, FILTH and HECTOR AND THE SEARCH FOR HAPPINESS.
