Bio
My professional background in marketing and brand development began in 2007 when I began a part-time internship under the guidance of Christina Hoefler, the President/Executive Designer of a start-up fashion accessories company based in Cleveland, OH. In addition to facilitating connections with company investors, I utilized my Creative Writing skills to write a strong brand narrative and regularly contribute fashion blogs that appealed to a diverse audience, most of whom were more interested in reading a good story than reading fashion advice. increasingly involved in content creation, social media strategy and web analytics. lau Although the company was based in Cleveland, I worked remotely while attending college in Southern California I graduated from The University of San Diego in 2011 with a B.A. in English.
It was here that I learned how to tell a good story, sell an idea and take care of customers. I had the privilege of being a part of my first software start-up in the late 90′s, TellSoft Technologies.
We had an innovative technology that enabled a telephone signal to be transmitted as streaming media over a computer. Companies like Tellsoft pioneered the WebEx or GoToMeeting solutions that we rely on today.
I chased cables, closed deals in Fortune 50 conference rooms, negotiated contracts between customers and attorneys, and crafted a product roadmap.
