What can I tell you about me?

I am a software developer who likes challenges, risks and... oh yes, traveling!

I started off working for software development companies until I took a chance and created my own. I work offline most of the times, which means I can work from wherever I'm at as long as I have my notebook and a good internet connection. I enjoy doing what I do, working for my customers and developing software but that was never enough, I need to have a project of my own at all times. This means all my free time goes into that project and that also keeps me busy working on things I'm really interested in (I guess we can assume I am interested in my own projects...).

I consider myself to be a good software developer and also a good thinker, I come up with good ideas, making them happen... well, that's another thing. I'm still trying to learn how to be a good salesman, haven't acomplished much so far...

Once thing I learned by working on projects of my own is that having a good idea and transforming that idea into something that could generate some income, something profitable, is not that easy. I know this is something you can read in any "Business 101" book, but reading it and living it are two different things, I learned it the hard way. But I guess that makes me more experienced... one would hope so at least.

I love to travel, I have been to many countries and I'm planning to go to many more. My line of work allows me to travel and work at the same time.

The last one of my passions I should metion here are languages, I absolutely love languages. I love learning new languages, I love speeaking them, everything about the leearning process is something I enjoy a lot. I just whish I had time to learn more languages. This is why my latest project is a Language Learning platform (www.languageglider.com).

That's all for now!
