Christian Beato is a 21-year-old, 4th year, sports management and legal studies major student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He was worked for various marketing companies with a basis on social media campaigns and personal interactions with consumers. He has also held various leadership roles from being the current president of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Inc. at his university, to having leadership roles at the United States Marine Corps officer candidate school, and as the vice president of Latino Unidos.
Christian has an interest in developing media of all kinds ranging from podcasts to creative videos. Most recently he has been developing creative videos in order to promote student-run cultural events at his university.
Community service is a principle that he has always found as a opportunity to help out individuals that are less fortunate, and as a way to engage in social justice. Some community service events that he has helped organized or participated in are: the "A Better Chance" Fall Foliage Walk in order to raise money to help pay school expenses for children of color and CPR Certification Day where his fraternity and he are able to get 30 individuals CPR and AED certified each year. He also organized a breast cancer awareness event in which he was able to raise over $200 for breast cancer research.
