Christian B. Sullivan
Christian B. Sullivan, the founder and hedge fund Managing Partner at UNIS Global Energy Fund headquartered in New York City, oversees the daily operations at the fund. Previously, Mr. Sullivan was employed by Deutsche Bank AG as Managing Director, cultivating relationships with brokers who worked with the bank’s investors. The Deutsche Bank position required that he regularly travel to Warsaw, Poland; London, England; Moscow, Russia; Cape Town, South Africa; and Verbier in Switzerland to individually manage the broker staff. A former resident of Nantucket, Christian B. Sullivan graduated from Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He soon put his investment acumen to use as an early backer of Moonpig.com, the British-based greeting card company that now has a presence in the United States and Australia. Mr. Sullivan also financed OpenRoad Media LLC, an e-book publishing based in New York City. In a consulting role, Christian B. Sullivan has determined the value of privately owned companies for tax purposes, using discounted cash flow, relative value, and asset-based value as models. Christian B. Sullivan has used his investment acumen to contribute to the community as an angel investor with Golden Seeds. He also contributes to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City and remains active other New York area charities, including the Food Bank for New York City. Mr. Sullivan is active with ReMIND.org, a website run by the Bob Woodruff Foundation in an effort to raise awareness of veterans’ issues, and is involved with helping youths acquire funding for college as a Board Member of Futures and Options. In his spare time, Christian B. Sullivan regularly attends New Jersey Nets games, buying season tickets each year.
