Christian Cullen

My name is Christian Cullen and i'm a Freshman at University of Georgia in the beautiful town of Athens, GA. Though it may feel as though i'm entering in a completely different setting with a new mix of people, I am not in it alone! I am a triplet and I have my triplet sister, Carly, here to accompany me along this journey. She's a floor away from me here in Athens, while the other is 460 miles away from me in Lakeland, FL at SEU! Although triplets may seem like enough, my mother decided fifth times the charm and felt that adding two more to the mix would be enough. This leaves her with four boys and one girl to even it all out! On another note, I enjoy trying new things and meeting new people. These often come in the form of hanging out with friends, going outdoors, or simply saying hello to a stranger here and there. I find myself most comfortable around people I know, so why not meet as many as possbible?! I listen to a variety of music such as Judah and the Lion and Bon Iver and i'm open to listening to new music of any kind! I am majoring in Microbiology with the intentions of Pre-Med in hopes of someday venturing to medical school and serving as a doctor or surgeon in my local community. Recently, I was given the opportunity to get a taste of this soon-to-be reality when I served as an intern at the Piedmont Heart Institute during my Fall semester of Senior Year in highschool. I then was given the privelidge of continuing this experience during the following Spring semester as I interned next to the hand of a General Surgeon at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. These opportunities opened my eyes to the art of medicine and the miraculous events that are entailed in its field. This next chapter of life at UGA will prove to be some of the most important moments in my life and I am both expectant and excited of what the future has in store!
