Because I have always wanted to help people in meaningful ways and raise a family held in love and consciousness, about 22 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child, Stuart, and on vacation for a month in St. Helena, California, I began to immerse myself in learning about alternative approaches to healing through utilizing the gifts of nature and the awareness of metaphysics. I read hundreds of books on every topic from healing with essential oils and natural baby care to haunted houses. Many years into this exploration I realized that my work as and interest in being an Interior Designer, (then just a hobby as I was in reality a full-time mom,) was no longer holding much interest for me. I became less engaged in the material, consumerist life and became much more interested in feeling, sensing, and connecting with people and nature. I began to have a very strong desire to help others which was magnified when a family member called me one day asking for help with a very difficult situation, (she was institutionalized and being given shock therapy for her trance like episodes which were brought about when her trauma therapy triggered too much pain.) At that time all I knew for sure was that she needed another type of help to truly heal. I decided to pray for a way to help her. After reading so many books and amazing stories about very gifted healers I came to realize that the truly helpful ones were the ones with gifts that, as far as I could tell, were appointed them by the Divine. I felt that in order to truly help someone to heal one would need to possess these gifts. My prayers to be able to help my Aunt and others ensued and strengthened in quality and frequency. Following 3 months of prayer, my healing gifts opened spontaneously. I have spent the past 16 years learning how to utilize these abilities and have been in practice helping others since 2007.
