Christiane Delarbeyrette

Christiane Delarbeyrette, founder of Idnition, is a bi-lingual Social Media Strategist who helps clients - digital virgins and savvy vanguards alike – to leverage the power of social media as an integral component of their marketing mix. The Internet is a fast-paced quagmire. For Christiane, it's her comfort zone. As she states: “web 2.0 offers a fast gateway to the world but this can be crushing. I grew up with it, I haven't skipped a beat and it holds a fascinating and magnetic attraction.” With such a founder, clients can leave it to Idnition to keep abreast of trends, innovations, 2.0 tools and to seek advice on how to implement and monitor social media to meet objectives.

An Idnition 2011 success story is where Warner Bros needed an audience outreach program in Europe for a Clint Eastwood film release. Challenge was to engage with social online communities around the film themes. On short notice, Christiane contacted professional sites and private blogs to push the film and create contests. Content was collected, translated, adapted, properly released to sites and the client received real time reports for monitoring and evaluation purposes. The result - a pleased client with more than 50 Facebook and Twitter communities successfully engaged and visibility on nearly 30 sites.

Christiane recently graduated with a Master in Strategy from ESSEC, a world leading business school. Her thesis, “The Social Media Impact on Business”, addressed how web 2.0 technologies have triggered a societal shift and a radical change in communication patterns. This drew upon her strong business acumen developed over a 13-year career in international businesses. Gaining notoriety, she is often invited to speak in academic environments.

With an “open source” attitude, Christiane willingly shares her knowledge and resources with her virtual peers, colleagues and networks. Her favourite quote, penned by Einstein is “I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
