Christian Holland is a Brooklyn-based critic, journalist, and educator. He was a founding contributor and executive editor for the Boston-based non-profit arts journal Big Red & Shiny and was a member of the publication's board of directors. In addition to Big Red & Shiny, he has contributed to Art Papers, Art New England and Boston's National Public Radio station, WBUR. With degrees in film and journalism from Emerson College and Boston University, respectively, he serves as a communications consultant for artists and galleries and has lectured on mass media at Boston and New York City area colleges.
