Marshall McLuhan was wrong: The medium is not the message.

A good story transcends the medium upon which it is transmitted.

Problem is, most people suck at telling a good story.

Storytelling in any form is a craft like woodworking. The tools are available to anyone, but few choose to become masters of those tools and express themselves through the skilled use of them.

The only thing that gets someone to turn the page or keep listening to you, is a good story.

Blog post, quarterly report, TED Talk, or book... the story is key.
