Christian Mandl

Christian co-founded the low-cost airline SkyEurope in 2001 and managed it until 2007, before exiting his investment to focus on new ventures. In April 2009, Christian became the owner and chairman of Maporama Solutions, who specializes in the visualization of enterprise data on maps. He is also the managing director of Danube Consulting, providing advisory services to investors in Central & Eastern Europe. He is involved in the development of several projects including the establishment of a venture capital fund to promote R&D in Slovakia. Christian holds a degree from IEP Paris (Sciences Po) and a postgraduate degree from the Free University of Berlin. He is a member of the Venturepreneurs’ Organization.
