Born in Kassel in 1965, I didn’t learn real estate from books or seminars. I learned it in my father’s office, the first Engel & Völkers franchisee in Kassel. Between ringing phones, piles of files, and cigarette smoke, I absorbed the lessons that shaped my life. My father taught me three rules: always answer the phone, listen to everyone, and always tell the truth, especially when it’s uncomfortable. If a house has a problem, mention it first. Clients are intelligent. Honesty builds trust, and trust builds a life.

Before founding my company, I spent years working across Brazil, Venezuela, Greece, and beyond. Many times, I started with nothing and built something meaningful using my SEO expertise to bring businesses to the top of Google. Those years taught me resilience, patience, cultural understanding, and deep gratitude for honest work and real partnerships.

At forty, I opened a real estate office in Marbella, bringing my website to number one on Google within eight months. Business exploded, but something felt wrong. The market was chaotic, emotionally empty, and driven by volume instead of values. I missed authenticity and meaningful relationships. That wasn’t the real estate world my father taught me.

So I chose Ibiza, a place where quality matters more than quantity and where trust still means something.

Today, I’m proud to have built three successful businesses under one roof. First, www.luxuryvillasibiza.net, which quickly reached top Google rankings and attracts serious luxury buyers. Then www.tattoosibiza.com, Ibiza’s most exclusive tattoo studio. And since 2013, I have also built a trusted Boat & Yacht Rental business at www.rentboatsibiza.es, offering fair prices and transparent service. Three different businesses, one principle: integrity.

But success didn’t come easily. When I first started in Ibiza with my partner Antonio, we worked daily with serious clients but had no office, so no one trusted us. For 18 months, we closed zero sales. Antonio wanted to leave. I refused. Then everything changed when Massimo from Italy bought a villa in Cap Martinet. Our first sale. Our first commission. I invested everything into a professional office in Jesús. Once it opened, everything changed. We sold 24 properties in one year. We belonged.

Then came the attack. Competitors sent more than 250,000 spam links to destroy our Google rankings. Overnight, everything disappeared. Many would have quit. I didn’t, because I wasn’t alone. Antonio stayed loyal. My webmaster in India worked day and night with a dedication money cannot buy. Together, we rebuilt.

People think real estate is glamorous: sunshine, villas, big commissions. The truth is different. We start at zero every month. We carry responsibility for families, staff, office, taxes, and marketing, with no guaranteed income. The last years have been hard, but we are still here because clients trust us. They return. They recommend us. They believe in our honesty.

After twelve years in Ibiza, we have sold over 200 properties and worked with some of the world’s most successful people. But my greatest success isn’t numbers. It is trust. It is integrity.
