Hi, I am a homeschooling mama of 2 living in the Midwest on a small farm. My family and I raise sheep and soon will have some chickens. I don't like to buy things at the store when I can make them myself. I love history, especially the Great Depression era.

I'm on a journey of living like Jesus and living out God's Word. I have been disappointed in church after church and frustrated at the way Christians are viewed. My frustration stems mostly from people who call themselves Christians and then have a hideous way of living. So, I realized I couldn't just be upset with it anymore, I needed to BE the church. There are many things in our life that we can't change but ourself isn't one of them. We make choices everyday and we can choose to love each other or tear each other down. Our country has a lot of political tension right now and I'm tired of seeing people who claim to be Christians pick and choose from the Bible to suit their argument. That's not going to cut it when we face our Creator, so I'm choosing the whole thing. Surely I will mess up, surely I will fail but this is too important to get so completely wrong.
